Infiniti QX56
The model Infiniti QX is one of the luxury sports utility vehicles developed by the North American automaker Nissan. The 1st generation vehicle was inspired by the 4WD terminology and shared the design cues of previous Nissan Q45.
Prologue
The 2011 model of QX56 is the third generation and was introduced at the New York International Automobile Show, which was held on 31st March 2010.

Engine Specs
QX56 is featured with a powerful new VVEL approved 5.6 L VK56VD V8 engine, which is designed to churn out 413 pounds-ft of torque and 400 hp of power. In addition to this, the muscular engine is featured with a maximum towing ability of about 8,500 pounds.
For enhanced performance, this engine is paired to an automatic sequential-shift seven-speed transmission, which is configured with an advanced 4-wheel drive system.

When compared with the previous version, the new QX56 is 1.1 inches wider and 1.4 inches longer. Most of the body mass of frame is developed from high quality tensile steel. In addition to this, it is based on the platform of the Nissan Patrol.
The vehicle is designed with both rear and front double wishbone independent suspension systems, which are connected to an advanced Hydraulic Body Motion Control System. The model QX is introduced as a large sized sports utility vehicle and depends on the 2nd generation Nissan Pathfinder. The exterior appearance is just similar to that of Lincoln Navigator, Cadillac Escalade, Range Rover, and Lexus LX.
Interior Impressions

Coming to the passenger cabin, QX56 is employed with an automatic 4-zone climate control system, semi-aniline leather seats, thirteen-speaker Premium sound system along with a hard drive memory storage facility, a standard XM satellite radio, an advanced navigation system, a power tailgate and liftgate, and parking sensors at front and rear side of the vehicle.
Some other technological features are climate controlled rear and front seats, an advanced Bluetooth wireless technology, third power seats, sliding power rear seats, and a seven-inch DVD back-seat video system.

Infiniti QX56 is also featured with an enhanced Infiniti hard drive based navigation system along with an eight-inch excellent resolution VGA monitoring screen. In addition to this, the vehicle has an Infiniti keyless Smart Access along with an “Intelligent Remote” key, which is conventional along with eight airbags incorporating the knee airbags for front passenger and driver along with the 2nd row side torso airbags and an advanced Adaptive Front-lighting System (AFS).
In addition to this, the vehicle features Vehicle Dynamic Control system, a Pre-Collision System, and a Lane Departure Warning System.

The new QX 56 was redesigned last year and the vehicle styling looks similar to that of smaller cohorts.
It comes with a standard 5.6-L V-8 engine that has advanced direct fuel injection to deliver 400 horsepower.
QX can be available in rear- or 4-wheel drive editions. The new QX can seat 8 passengers in 3 rows, and counts new Lincoln Navigator and Cadillac Escalade among its competitors.
